You can now visit our Private Walk-in Clinic in Chelmsford, Essex to get treatment for your minor ailments, when it suits you.

 

What conditions can we treat?

We are able to treat a range of minor conditions in-store to save you a trip to your GP, as well as saving time spent waiting in long phone lines for an appointment. We have compiled a list of conditions we are able to treat, as well as potential symptoms highlighted by the NHS. This will help you to understand which conditions you may have, as well as the ones we can treat within our accessible service.

 

Urinary Tract Infections

Symptoms of a UTI include:

 

– Pain or a burning sensation whilst urinating

– Urine that is cloudy in appearance

– A more urgent or frequent need to urinate

– Blood in your urine

– Lower tummy or back pain, just below your ribs

 

 

Tonsillitis

Symptoms of tonsillitis often include: 

 

– Difficultly swallowing

– Fatigue

– A temperature of 38C or above

– A sore throat

– White, pus-filled spots on your tonsils

 

 

Ear infections

The following symptoms are usually indicative of an ear infection: 

 

– Pain within the ear

– A temperature of 38C or above

– Hearing difficulties

– Discharge

– A feeling of fullness or pressure within the ear

– A lack of energy

Chest infection

Chest infections usually manifest in some of the following ways:

 

– A chesty cough, potentially including yellow or green mucus

– Shortness of breath and wheezing

– Chest discomfort or pain

– Skin infections, such as shingles, impetigo and atopic eczema

– Nose infections

We know how difficult it can be to get a GP appointment at the moment, so we strive to provide an accessible walk-in service that you can access at any time, on a day that suits you. Our clinic runs from 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, as well as on Saturdays between 9am and 1pm. Your private consultation will cost £15; our professional, highly-trained staff will work with you to understand your symptoms. Following this, we will be able to recommend any potential treatment, as well as organise a referral for further treatment if needed.

Even though the service is offered as a walk-in clinic, we do also take bookings over the phone if you wish to do so.
