Ear microsuction is a method used to remove ear wax build up. This method uses a suction device which gently sucks wax out of the ear without the use of water.

What to expect?

Prior to the appointment you will be required to apply olive oil ear drops into your ear(s) twice a day for up to 5 days.

During your visit, our trained pharmacist will use a microscope to see a detailed view of your ear canal and examine the potential build up of earwax. The earwax will then be removed using a gentle suction device.

The microsuction procedure will typically take 10-30 minutes depending on the consistency of the wax.
